ECOC is the leading European conference in the field of optical communication, and one of the most prestigious and long-standing events in this field. Here, the latest progress in optical communication technologies will be reported in selected papers, demo session, keynotes, workshops and special symposia.

Parallel to the scientific conference, the ECOC exhibition covers a wide range of optical communication products and services.

Therefore, ECOC is open to a variety of interested participants like researchers and students, product developers, sales managers and telecommunication market developers. Every year this international forum attracts more than 1,000 scientists and researchers from research institutions and companies from across the world.

ECOC 2018 is organised by CNIT, the Consortium of 37 Italian universities for telecommunication. EUREL is owner of the registered trademark ECOC. EUREL is the Convention of National Associations of Electrical Engineers of Europe representing ten member associations in ten countries in greater Europe.

Scientific patronage is provided by the Institute of Communication Information and Perception Technologies (TeCIP) of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

Endorsement has been granted by the IEEE Photonics Society and OSA, the Optical Society.

The French TV and radio channel BFM Business is making a serial of interviews with CEOs of fast growing French SMEs.
3SP Technologies was selected by the channel and we agreed to make such an interview. The interview was about our company profil, our markets, our development targets and how to achive those targets. The interview was boadcasted simultaneously on the TV and the radio channel for the first time on August 13, at 7:30 pm, and will be repeated on th same TV and radio channels on December 22 at 1:00 pm.

3SP Technologies placed an order to purchase a MBE 412 system from Riber in order to increase 3SPT’s production capacity of optoelectronic components. 3SP Technologies, a subsidiary of O-Net Communications, is specialized in the field of fabrication of high-performance laser chips and modules. Those optoelectronic components allow to meet the needs of increasing data rates in optical fiber communication networks and data centers. The ordered equipment will be delivered by Riber to 3SPT during 2020.

O-Net Group – OFC 2019

The 44th Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communications (OFC) was held on March 3th at the Convention Center in San Diego, USA. 3SP Technologies attended to this leading venue for learning and discussing market trends, innovations and business opportunities.

On the O-Net Group’s booth, 3SP Technologies presented its entire range of 980nm and 14xx pumps integrated with O-Net’s product portfolio (passive components, EDFAs and Transceivers).

This was an opportunity for us to meet the main players in the optical communications market, to showcase one of the most completed products, and to respond the evolution of this sector.

The Photonics West 2019 Exhibition held in Moscone center San Francisco, California, Feb 2019.
3SP Technologies was hosted on the ITF booth representing O-Net group. 4 senior managers and technical peoples of 3SP Technologies were present at this world’s exhibition, and enjoyed plenty of networking opportunities. Lots of interesting customer meetings were set to support 3SP products offering, and participation to the technical conference “LASE” and “OPTO” also allowed 3SP to be informed on the latest development and scientific results in the field of laser and optoelectronic components.

The 43rd Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC) held in Convention Center, San Diego, United States, 13 March 2018. Over 20 peoples have been coming from 3 entities of O-Net Group this year to meet and greet, teach and learn, make connections and move business forward. 4 senior managers and technical peoples of 3SP Technologies participated in the exhibition.
Full 980nm & Raman pump module of 3SP Technologies’ portfolio was advertised and displayed during OFC. Included 980nm mini-DIL, TO can uncooled, 14-pin & 10 pin cooled and semi-cooled modules as well as 14XXnm semi-cooled pump.

3S PHOTONICS was purchased through a joint offer of Advance Photonics Investments Limited and O-Net Communications (Group) Limited, and renamed the company as 3SP Technologies.  On the same day Advance Photonics Investments Limited entered into a management contract with O-Net for the daily management of 3SP Technologies.  O-Net, listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, is a leading supplier of passive optical networking subcomponents, components, modules and subsystems used in high-speed telecommunications and data communications network systems.

3S PHOTONICS continued its external growth strategy with the acquisition of Manlight, an internationally recognized manufacturer of amplifiers and fiber lasers.
