VCSEL Design Engineer F/M in permanent contract
As the VCSEL Design Engineer, your main role consists in :
Design and characterization of next generation lasers components for high speed communications (50GBaud VCSEL for datacom links).
Contribute to the improvement of wafer process building blocks needed for the new design.
Contribute to the definition of new test equipments in relation with engineering team.
Interfacing with Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Production and other entities of the company during the definition, development and industrialization phases of new products.
Technology surveillance : conduct bibliographic studies, analyze competitors’ technical solutions
This position involves working in clean room and travelling abroad (some per year).
You have a Engineer degree or PhD in optoelectronics and have an experience in high semiconductor laser design and characterization.
You have knowledge in physics of semiconductors and optoelectronics components (VCSEL laser), high speed optical communications, design ans simulations of III-V semiconductor-based laser, project management and test methods ans characterization of optoelectronic components.
Rigor, autonomy, ability to communicate results pedagogically and syntheticaly and ability to work effectively in team of transverse development are assets to succeed in this position.
